Duey was the nicest, kindest gentleman I ever knew. He loved his family sooo much. I remember him escorting me (the yoga teacher @ Bickford) to class. I css wasn’t remember the day that I knocked on his door and told him it was time to exercise. He smiled and held out his arm to escort me there. We talked as we walked there. He pointed at his Air Force photo in the hall & said that was him. He was proud to have served his country. After class he again wanted to escort me back- to drop him at his door. He wanted to show me the family photo he had in his room. He smiled so big! I could see the love he held dearly for each person in that photo. Duey could always make me smile. He was truly a gift from God. I loved having him as a friend. I respect and honor him for the gentleman that he is. I will miss you Duey. I know you’re with Jesus now, dancing, singing, making everyone smile! My condolences to his family. I can imagine the ache in your hearts at his passing. Angie Ryan

So sorry to hear of Duey's passing. I enjoyed him whenever we came in contact. He bowled with my husband, Donnie Douglas. I have pictures of him and his wife Evelyn in our backyard for a cookout with the whole bowling team. Duey was always so nice and kind. I know you will miss him dearly. May he rest in peace.

A good man and he will be greatly missed. I knew him from high school days and he was so well liked by so many people.--a great model for young people.

I knew Dewey for many years through his musical performances with Bobby Remack. He always had a smile, was kind and considerate, and had a great sense of humor. He was a fixture at the Little Flower Fis Fries, as a volunteer. He will be missed. Deepest sympathy to his family.

Duey my dearest buddy , I am so sad to see you gone but I know you are at ease and no longer suffering. You will forever be in my heart and be my best of buds, all the fun we had at Bickford and all the fun trips we took, dancing and singing alone with Ed Clark and playing BINGO. I love you my friend and my deepest condolences to his family.

Mr. DuPont taught accordion lessons to us when we were children. Later he played at my wedding reception. A very fine person. Would see him around town and he always had a smile. So very sorry for your loss.
