Mom-oats i love and miss you so very much.i miss your calls each day wanting nothing more then to tell me you love me.you did so much with so little over the years, not once do i remember you complaining about anything! YOU raised 8 boys on your own.that alone desribes the difficulties you encountered, and the strength, love and character you have..i promise to do my best at keeping all of us boys together.and to give a swift kick to the a** to any one of us who might need it to stay in line, including myself mom..i know thats what you would want from me..i get comfort in knowing you are in good company, but would do anything to have you back...we all love and miss you so much mom! YOU KEEP SMILING!!
So sorry to hear of Sandy's passing. She was one of the greatest bartenders Two Brothers ever had and her Love for the Cubs just made her that more special. Anytime I seen her, she always said, "hi" and had a smile on her face. Sorry again for your loss, prayers being sent to her family.
Sandy and I went to school together from kindergarten through high school. My memories of Sandy have always included that quick smile of hers and her ability to find the good - and often the humor - in all that she faced. She most certainly will be missed. And to her family, I hope that your grief in losing your mother will come to be tempered by the happy and joyful memories of her too.
So sorry for your loss, Jennings kids! I haven't seen Sandy in 50 years but I remember how attentive she was to her nieces and nephews on Holmes Avenue. Always sad when a fellow Ursuline Girl passes on: rest in peace.
Sandy was so good to my Dad, me and our entire family. She was a very dedicated and loving mother, hard worker and loyal friend. She had a great sense of humor, beautiful smile and an infectious laugh. I wish the Roof family much peace and comfort.
My husband, Ed, and I extend our sincere sympathy to all who loved Sandy. She was a very dear childhood friend who grew up down the street from me on Glenwood Avenue. Together we attended Blessed Sacrament School and Ursuline Academy. Sandy always met life's challenges with a positive attitude and a smile on her face. I will miss Sandy, but I cherish wonderful memories!
I am comforted knowing that she might be reunited with some amazing company in heaven. Peace, Sandy and for the boys.
My heartfelt sympathy to all you lovely Roof brothers. I pray your mother is wrapped in the arms of the Lord and feeling ever ounce of his most precious love.
You are sadly missed. I am doing what you asked. I loved you so much, and will always be there for the boys. You would be so proud of them. Love you and miss you. Kelly
