I was so devastated to hear of this news. I grew up with Shane and knew his family very well. He was such an amazing man and a true friend. I pray for family and children, that they may find peace in there hearts. This is so sad and truly a loss to everyone that knew him.

Ron, Tisa, Kim, and Corrine I am deeply grief stricken with news of Shane’s passing; words alone cannot express my feelings for our loss. I can only offer my sincerest condolences to you all during this time of sorrow, my thoughts and prayers are with you. God bless us and support us under this heavy affliction. I am truly devastated losing my best friend and my brother; he will be missed and always loved. To know Shane and experience life growing up in the north end with him and his family was an honor and a privilege that I am humbly grateful for. Although we haven’t spoken in nearly 12 years I look back on those days, and reflect about the good and the bad times we had growing up together, in retrospect it made us who are. I never had any friends later on like the one I had growing up in the north side… Jesus does anyone?

Dear Kimberly, Corrine, Caitty, Haley, and Anna - This is so unbelievably sad, and I know you are overwhelmed with grief. Shane had the same guileless soul as his dad, and there are no answers as to why gentle hearts encounter such cruel fates in this life. As time goes on, it is my wish is for you to find the strength to confront every mournful feeling and thought with beautiful memories and gratitude for the love and time you had together. He loved you all so very much. I am consoled knowing Shane is reunited with his earthly father and forever in peace with his heavenly Father, and I hope with my whole heart that you are too.
