JEFF, PAM, & DIANE, CHRIS & I OFFER OUR DEEPEST SYMPATHY & CONDOLENCES ON YOUR MOM'S PASSING. MANY YEARS AGO I WAS AT A LOCAL HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL GAME WITH JANE & CLYDE & MY 2 YOUNG SONS. IT WAS A VERY COLD EVENING & JANE WRAPPED A BLANKET AROUND HER, THEN OFFERED TO HOLD 1 OF MY BOYS ON HER LAP, SAYING SHE WOULD KEEP HIM WARM. AT HALF-TIME SHE DIDN'T WANT HIM TO GET UP, THEN SAYING HE WAS KEEPING HER LAP WARM. NUMEROUS TIMES AFTER THAT I SAW JANE AT VARIOUS MILITARY EVENTS, WHERE SHE OFTEN SAID/READ A PRAYER. & ALWAYS SMILING. SHE WAS SUCH A WONDERFUL, KIND, CHEERFUL, & FRIENDLY LADY. CERTAINLY SHE'S NOW UP IN HEAVEN KEEPING CLYDE IN LINE. MAY GOD GIVE HER EVERLASTING HAPPINESS, & MAY SHE REST IN PEACE. AMEN.

I HAVE KNOWN JANE THROUGH LINEAGE ORGANIZATIONS. THE THING MOST REMEMBERED IS HER EVER-SO-PLEASANT SMILE AND TRULY CARING PERSONALITY. SHE WAS A TRUE GIFT TO ALL WHO KNEW HER. MARTHA BRADLEY

Jeff, What a special lady! As kids and young adults I can't remember a time she did not have a smile on her face. I am sorry for your loss. Dave

Dear Jeff, I am sorry to hear of your mom's passing. She was a very fine woman and wonderful friend to my mom and dad. I never met a kinder soft spoken person. I have many fond memories of your mom and dad from our childhood, being next door neighbors, going to the same church, growing up together.....So sorry for your loss. Brian

Oh my God, you have collected a fine/friendly lady who has enjoyed her life with family and friends. Watch it because she is sharp with her recall of events. Jane was always a joy to visit with, something she looked forward to. One day we shall visit again. Untill then we will keep looking up because that is where the help comes from.

This lovely, elegant lady was in the same DAR Chapter as I. How I missed her when she went to the nursing home. Often, I would think of her when she and her friend would sit together at every meeting. When I was in DUV, I recall Jane standing tall and expressing her feelings to club members. I sat watching her in awe. She possessed the kind of elegance every woman desires at a certain age. God rest your beautiful soul, Jane Grizzell.
