My grandpa was an amazing man. I am so lucky to have grown up with him living close to me. There are many memories I have that I will cherish forever. Some of my favorites are from our lake house, when we would go out for the weekend and grandma would bring fried chicken. Grandpa would sit out on the dock in his fishing chair and bucket hat contemplating jumping into the water. When it was finally time to jump in, he would do a big cannon ball and lose his hat! I remember laughing and laughing when he would do this. Grandpa, I miss you.

There's a land that is fairer than day. And by faith we can see it afar. For the Father waits over the way. To prepare us a dwelling place there. In the sweet bye and bye. We shall meet on that beautiful shore. We shall sing on that beautiful shore. The melodious songs of the blessed. And our spirits shall sorrow no more. Not a sigh for the blessing of the rest. In the sweet bye and bye. We shall meet on that beautiful shore. To our bountiful Father above. We will offer our tribute of praise. For the glorious gift of His love. And the blessings that hallow our days. In the sweet bye and bye. We shall meet on that beautiful shore. In the sweet bye and bye. We shall meet on that beautiful shore. Rest In Peace, Dad

My grandpa was wonder filled & full of stories. He even had his own name tattooed on his wrist. He would tell me that it was there so he “never forgot his name”. I also found out that he tattooed it himself at age 13. Earlier this year, grandpa entered a memory care facility before he passed away. I decided that I too never wanted to forget my name, or him.

Mr Arno loved Pepsi and chocolate covered nuts and Cindy and I used to steal them all the time. I remember you sitting at the dining room table carefully working with your stamps. You will be missed by many. Rest In Peace.❤️❤️❤️
