Condolences for Josef “Joe” Asafailo

I knew Joe when I attended Divine Heart Seminary during my freshman year there in 1966-67. I'm saddened to learn of his passing just now because I am doing research on the school to include in my memoir and I found this posted on FB. May you rest in peace, and light perpetual shine upon you!

How very sad to read that Joe passed away. He is the first person from our class that I'm aware of passing. It's heartbreaking. May he rest in the peace and the love of the Sacred Heart. My condolences to his mother and his family.

Joe and I were good friends in grade school, high school, and college but lost touch after I moved to Minnesota. Joe was always a thoughtful, happy person and we played guitar together and often discussed the challenges of the day. Rest in peace Josef. Your family is in our thoughts and prayers. Kevin
