Condolences for Harry E. “Bud” Roberts Jr.
Bud will be missed. RIP
Chief Roberts was my very first mentor as a young military photographer. He set me up once and didn't put film in the camera (when we used film!) so I looked silly in front of the Adjutant General! I was so embarrassed and I did learn to always check and double-check my equipment now before going on a photo shoot. He was such a neat man. I learned a great deal from him. Wish that I could be there to show my appreciation and honor him. I am now an active duty Air Force officer stationed at FE Warren AFB.
Amy I am so sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
Dear Diana & Family, Our deepest condolences at the passing of Buddy. Saw & talked with him often when I was in the Guard. My Unit and the PAD had adjoining Offices in the new Armory. He was always a nice fellow to chat with and work with. If we can be of help in any way please contact us. With Deepest Sympathy, Bob & Maureen Best
I worked at camp Lincoln with Bud. He was always such a nice guy. He was missed when he retired. My prayers for his family.
So sorry to hear about Bud's passing. I worked at Camp Lincoln the same time as Bud. I so enjoyed his smile and quiet sense of humor. He was a pleasure to be around. May he rest in peace and may his family be comforted.
My sincere sympathy to the family. Bud and I were professionally associated for 8 years when I was the director of Public Affairs. After my retirement he and I kept in touch via email and an occasionally by telephone. Bud was a faithful employee and friend.

Bud was a very special person and I appreciate everything he did for me and my family. Rest in peace.
Grew up as a kid knowing Bud. My father was in the military and friends with Bud. I joined and ended up working in the next office to him for many many years. He was always funny and decent to people. I never regretted have Bud as my friend. I will miss him greatly and hope his family can find some comfort in this terrible time.
I was saddened to hear of Bud's passing. I had the pleasure of working with Buddy for many years in the National Guard. He was an outstanding professional and soldier. Our condolences to his family.

The stories I hear about Bud tell a tale of a man who loved his family dearly and lived his life in his own way. May his soul be at peace, and may all who love him take comfort in happy memories.
