Condolences for Louis D. Scherba

Lou was my barber for 49 years. He posted my picture on his 'hair style wall' when he was the only barber who didn't do crew cuts in the Town and Country barber shoppe. I would come back 600 miles from college to get my haircut twice a year. Lou was indeed, a character. Condolences to Letia and the boys. Peace.

Lou was my barber ever since I moved to Chatham 14 years ago. While he was a colorful character, Lou made an impression on my family when he came to the hospital on a Sunday in '07 to cut my Dad's hair and then refused payment. It was dad's last haircut as he passed a few weeks later. I guess Lou will now cut his hair again.
