Mike was born in Springfield, where he graduated from Springfield High School and Lincoln Land Community College. Now retired from the Springfield Police Department, Mike is currently a member of Illinois Police Association, International Police Association, Police Benevolent and Protective Association, and the Fraternal Order of Police. He attends St. Agnes Catholic Church. Mike and his wife are the proud parents of twin sons who attend Sacred Heart-Griffin High School.  Mike joined the Staab Family team in 2012.
