Winifred “Winnie” J. Whitlow, 88, of Springfield died at 10:20 am, Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at Memorial Medical Center. She was born November 26, 1932 in Hoopeston, IL to Chester and Hazel (Shinneman) Robertson. She married Donald Whitlow October 23, 1955 and he preceded her in death January 3, 2015.

She is survived by two sons, Steven Whitlow of Springfield, and Scott (Carol) Whitlow of Davie, FL; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Winnie was an avid card player and especially enjoyed playing bridge.

Memorial Gathering: 10 – 11 am, Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at Staab Funeral Home – Springfield.

Graveside Service: 12:00 pm, Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at Camp Butler National Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Animal Protective League.
