William J. Reynolds
William J. Reynolds, 72 of Springfield died at St. John’s Hospital at 3:54 p.m., Friday, August 23, 2013. He was born July 4, 1941 in Springfield the son of Merle and Eva Storey Reynolds. He married Donna Smith on November 5, 1983 and she survives.
Also surviving are his nine children Paula House of Chatham; Beth (Greg) Crissey of Chatham; Jim (Sandy) Files of Auburn; Debbie Hamrick of Chatham; Tina Butler of Springfield; Willie (Heidi) Reynolds of Pontiac; Scott (Bridget) Reynolds of Springfield; Missy (Denny) Ryan of Springfield; Bud (Penny) Smith of Chatham; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; one brother Charles Reynolds of Springfield.
His parents and one sister Betty Viebahn preceded him in death.
William was a resident of Springfield all of his life. He was a painter by trade and owned and operated restaurants and taverns Frances Pizza, No Problem Pub and Billy’s Stockyard.
Visitation: 5:00 pm 7:00 pm, Tuesday, August 27, 2013 at Staab Funeral Home.
A private graveside service will be held.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Animal Protective League or Wounded Warriors.

Pop, I miss you everyday. The whole left in my life from you being gone can never be filled. You taught me alot in my life, things I passed to my sons, your legacy will live on through generations..
