Virginia R. Gentry, 63 of Springfield, formerly of Riverton died at 10:24 a.m. Tuesday, February 22, 2011 at Memorial Medical Center. She was born on March 21, 1947 in Springfield, IL to Rudolph and Edith Pescitelli Prohoska. Her parents preceded her in death.
Virginia was of the Catholic Faith.
Surviving are 2 sons; Lee (Emelita) Gentry of Jacksonville, FL and Todd Gentry of Tennessee, 5 grandchildren; Michael, Tiffany, Michelle, Christopher and Cody Gentry and several cousins.
Private family services will be held. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery.
