Victor Joseph Kuizin

Victor J. Kuizin, 91, of Springfield, died at 8:05 am Saturday, September 14, 2013 at Memorial Medical Center.

Victor was born March 5, 1922 in Auburn, IL to Victor and Rosa Yuscienne Kuizin. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Stanley Daniel Kuizin and two sisters, Matilda Ashbaugh and Bernice Cross.

Victor is survived by a sister, Barbara Kuizin of Chicago; eight nieces and nephews, many great nieces and nephews and two cousins.

Mr. Kuizin was a member of St. Agnes Church. He served in the United States Army during World War II. He owned and operated the meat market in Waverly for many years. He worked as an auditor in Chicago and later at Dickey John Corporation. He graduated from the University of Illinois.

Visitation: 10-11 am Thursday, September 19, 2013 at St. Agnes Church.

Funeral Mass: 11 am Thursday, September 19, 2013 at St. Agnes Church with Reverend Robert Jallas officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery where military honors will be conducted by Sangamon County Interveterans Burial Detail.
