GLENARM – Tony David Vieira, 54, of Glenarm, formerly of Springfield, died at 3:44 p.m. Friday, July 4, 2008.
He was born March 3, 1954, in Springfield, the son of Tony and Mildred Wilkerson Vieira. He married Tina LaFalce on Aug. 14, 1999.
He is preceded in death by his father, Tony Vieira; and a sister, Marilyn Jean Vieira.
He is survived by his wife, Tina Marie Vieira of Glenarm; two sons, Tony David Vieira Jr. and Michael Vieira, both of Springfield; a grandson, A.J. Vieira; his mother, Mildred Vieira of Springfield; two sisters, Sue (husband, Charles) Reiser of Zion and Nancy (husband, Dennis) Rowe of Rochester; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Tony lived in Glenarm for the past five years.
He worked for Armbruster as tent crew supervisor. He also worked at Dairy Queen and RGIS Inventory. He enjoyed traveling, especially to Alaska and Colorado, camping and being outdoors. He made many beautiful furniture pieces while working at his hobby of woodworking. He enjoyed gardening, especially roses. He also enjoyed riding his Harley, affectionately referred to as his girlfriend. He was an avid Raiders fan.
A memorial gathering will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, July 7, 2008, at Staab Funeral Home. Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 8, 2008, at the funeral home, with Pastor Richard Harre officiating.
