Tina M. Musick
GLENARM – Tina M. Musick, 44, of Glenarm died at 12:05 a.m. Tuesday, April 15, 2008, at her residence.
She was born Aug. 14, 1963, in Springfield, the daughter of Ray and Marla Hollett Loyd. She married Timothy L. Musick on April 21, 2001.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents and grandmother, Marla Hollett.
Mrs. Musick, a lifelong resident of the Springfield area, was an administrative assistant for IDOT and formerly worked for DSCC.
She was a member of First Church of the Nazarene in Springfield. She loved scrapbooking, enjoyed the beauty of Longaberger baskets, enjoyed being with her church family and was a mentor to many teens at Chatham Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband, Tim L. Musick of Glenarm; a daughter, Sarah Houston of Springfield; a stepdaughter, Brittany Musick of Chatham; a son, Kevin (wife, Kelly) Houston of Plattsburgh, N.Y.; a stepson, Christopher Musick of Chatham; parents, Ray and Marla Loyd of Springfield; grandfather, Donald Hollett of Springfield; two sisters, Tammy Loyd of Springfield and Tucia Wartenbe of Kansas City, Kan.; a brother, Tony (wife, Sarah) Loyd of Springfield; several aunts and uncles; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, April 18, 2008, at Staab Funeral Home and will lie in state from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, April 19, 2008, at First Church of the Nazarene. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 19, 2008, at First Church of the Nazarene, with Pastor Fred Prince officiating. Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to First Church of the Nazarene in Springfield or Chatham Baptist Church.
