I was greatly saddened upon finding out (just yesterday) that Tom had died. He was a classmate of mine at Dowling HS in Des Moines. What a tremendous person. I still remember that wry smile- like he realized what was up before anything was spoken. I remember him being a great debater- being on the HS team- All of us in Fr. Acri's class got to witness his abilities. To all of his familty and friends- Tom and all of you are remembered in my prayers. 4-30-13
