To all of you - the Keeley family, I am so very very sorry to hear of your loss of Tom. Missy, though I did not know you or Tom well, I know how near and dear you both were and are to my brother and sister in law, Joe and Sandi Rotherham. And Paula and I were friends in Junior Achievement and at SHA back in high school days. I know that Tom was the best of friends. God only knows what he and Joe are up there doing:) My very deepest sympathies again to all of you. I will keep all of you in my thoughts and prayers. Wishing for you God's gentle strength and peace in your hearts during this very difficult time. Mary Rotherham Smalley

We wanted to let you know that although we did not know Tom other than our few conversations with him over purchasing our car, we feel truly blessed to have met him. It is a true pleasure to meet someone genuine, and kind. From the conversations we had, which included our daughters playing soccer together,we felt like we knew him for years. He truly seemed to love his family and companion. I am sure he will be greatly missed. Our prayers are with you Mark and Bev Hopkins

Missy and Family: The best thing in life is to have a "Life Long Friend". The worst thing is to lose one so early in life. My life is better for having had Tom as a great friend. The stories I could tell of the fun we had as kids would make anyone that grew up with us smile. Because they were really great stories.........and he was a really great true friend. I wouldn't have the great kids and grandkids I have now if it were not for Keys introducing me to their mom at the GA......way back in 1977. I am going to miss Tom very very much.....and I know everyone that really knew him will also miss him very very much. I know this is a sad time but all I can do is smile and think about what a great guy my "Life Long Friend" was. I will always remember his great smile. We'll be praying for the whole family...and I'll be thinking about a great friend....and smiling....for many years to come.

I worked with Tom for Ten Years at Honda. We always joked about how much Tom talked about his kids..and respected how crazy he was for them. He was involved in every facet of their lives and it was his greatest joy. I dont think you can say a better thing about a man than he was a GREAT dad. I know we'll all miss him.

Tom and I worked together at Honda of Illinois for nearly 20 years. He was a true friend. I will remember the golf outings, trips to St. Louis Cardinal games, and watching "Fighting Illini" basketball with him. At work, there wasn't a day that went by without Tom relaying an entertaining story about Selby or Kelsey. I was always glad to listen, and share a smile when he talked about them. He was a real family man. Tom was always upbeat. He was one of those people that helped make "work" enjoyable. The last time I visited with him was on the showroom floor at Honda of Illinois. It was in late December, and he had stopped by to say hello. We talked about our families, work, and getting together next Spring for some golf at Lincoln Greens or Edgewood. I have many good memories of Tom Keeley, and feel blessed to have known him. He will be missed by many, including me ( Don Day ) .

Tom was an awesome person. Always smiling everytime I would see him. I worked with him at Honda many years ago and my husband did up until he left to go work at Hyumdai. He was the one who told us about the house that we now leave in and the great school district of Rochester. I will never forget the night of the 2010 State Championship football game his son Selby along with my son David played in as seniors. He came up to me and said aren't you glad I told you about the house you bought and gave me a big hug. He will be greatly missed. Rest in peace Tom. And God Bless to Missy and your three children. I was stunned when I learned that Tom had passed away....., though I have not been back to Springfield in many years I have fond memeories of growing up there. Many of my cherished memories involved the Keeley Family, in particular Tom and Linda Keeley. I remember the family moving into the tight knit neighborhood and Linda and I became instant friends. Tom gave me my first kiss while playing a game of operation! In later years he would give me relationship advice and I became college roomates with a close friend of his. We all took a memorable trip to Daytona_ my first, so many wonderful memories over a period 15 or so years. I will remember Tom with a quick wit and a easy smile. A born salesman, my Mom always said Tom could sell shoes to a snake if he put his mind to it! I am truly sorry for his passing,he will remain in the hearts of many. Carrie Welch
