Susan D. Schlebach

Susan D. Schlebach, 55, of Springfield, died at 3:30 am Sunday, January 06, 2013 at her home. She was born May 8, 1957 in Waynesburg, PA to Homer Clarence and Pearl Shifflett Koontz, Jr. She married Tim Schlebach on November 19, 2006.
Surviving are her husband, Tim; two daughters, Jenny (Michael) Horn and Emily Kennebeck, both of Springfield; a son, Jason Kennebeck of Springfield; two grandchildren, Alyssa and Peyton Horn; dog Muppet; and mother Pearl (companion Orville Bandelow) Stonesifer of Mt. Pulaski, IL.
Her father preceded her in death.
Susan worked at Northfield Inn in Springfield. She loved to quilt, animals and being with family. She waged a valiant fight against cancer for four years. She enjoyed Native American culture.
Visitation: 4 – 6 pm Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at Staab Funeral Home.
Funeral Service: 6:00 pm Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at Staab Funeral Home with Reverend John Nelson officiating.
