Steven Thomas Elliott
Steven Thomas Elliott, 54, of Waverly, died Saturday, August 23, 2014 in Chatham. He was born March 1, 1960 in Salt Lake City, UT, to Edwin Thomas and Allison Evey Elliott. He married Pam Stauffer on April 3, 1997 and she survives.
Also surviving are four children Heather Fowler of Springfield, James (Nathaly) Welch of Chicago, Susan Welch of Springfield, and Malorie A. Elliott of Chatham; six grandchildren; two brothers, Alan (Lynn) Elliott of Wickenburg, AZ and Randy (Lisa) Elliott of Bakersfield, CA; former wife, Karen Elliott of Chatham, mother of Malorie and Sean, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one son, Sean Thomas Elliott.
Steven was a teacher at Sacred Heart Griffin for over twenty five years.
He was an avid outdoorsman and participated in a two year Mormon Mission in Ireland in 1980. He touched many lives and will be missed.
Celebration of Life: The family will host a Celebration of Life for family and close friends at 1 pm, Sunday, August 31, 2014 at the home of Randy Stauffer.
