Rosalie Cianferri
Rosalie Cianferri, 81, of Springfield, died Tuesday, December 10, 2013, at Memorial Medical Center. She was born March 28, 1932 in Springfield, the daughter of Thomas and Josephine Bert Cianferri.
Rosalie was a life-long resident of Springfield. She retired from the Illinois Department of Revenue in 1997. She was a member of the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception.
She was pre-deceased by her father, Thomas and mother, Josephine. She is survived by her sister, Elena Cianferri; brothers, Thomas Cianferri (Judy); Nicholas Cianferri (Edith); John Cianferri (Carol); Nieces, Cheryl Hull; Teresa Bierman (Jeff); Heather Stapleton (Chris); Gina Fuhrmann (Jeff); nephews, Thomas Cianferri (Diane); Kevin Cianferri (Michelle); Nicholas Cianferri (Donna); Michael Cianferri, Matthew Hull (Stacey); Zachary Hull; Adam Hull; Courtney Bierman Agarwal (Ed); Paige Bierman, and numerous great nieces and nephews.
She was a devoted sister and aunt, who loved taking care of her mother and her many nieces and nephews.
Visitation: 4 – 6 pm, Thursday, December 12, 2013 at Staab Funeral Home, with a prayer service at 4 pm.
Funeral Mass: 10 am, Friday, December 13, 2013 at Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, with Monsignor David Lantz officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception.
