SPRINGFIELD – Robert Robo Lee Oliver, Jr., 49, of Springfield, died Thursday, September 27, 2007 at his residence.

He was born March 16, 1958 in Springfield, IL, the son of Robert Lee and Dorothy Franklin Oliver, Sr. He married Rita Hobbs on October 1, 1993. His father preceded him in death.

Mr. Oliver worked as a siding applicator.

Survivors: wife, Rita Ann Oliver; two daughters, Roberta Zimmerman and Rachel Ann Oliver, both of Springfield; one stepdaughter, Jana Lynn Hart of Springfield; four grandchildren; mother, Dorothy (husband, Gerald) Franciskovich of Petersburg; four sisters, Lynn (husband, Gary) Anderson of Springfield, Tina Oliver of Springfield, Jane Elizabeth (husband, Don) Brown of Pleasant Plains, and Tammy Smith of Springfield; one brother, Harold Eugene Oliver of Springfield; several aunts and uncles; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Visitation will be held 10:00-11:00 a.m., Monday, October 1, 2007. Services: 11:00 a.m., Monday, October 1, 2007, Robert Green officiating. Burial: Old Berlin Cemetery. Staab Funeral Home of Service.
