Bobby was my cousin and spent a school year with my family in Abbot, Maine. He was a city boy, he saw and did a lot of things for the first time when he was with us. He milked his first cow, helped mom feed the pigs, played with my little sisters rabbits and went haying with my brother. He played chess with a boy back home by mail. He would make one move and send his friend a letter, eagerly awaiting his response. It went on the whole time Bobby was with us. He was a kind boy and had a beautiful smile. I miss those times and think of them fondly. That school year Bobby got kicked accidentally at school and had to undergo surgery, unfortunately he lost a kidney. It never stopped him. I will miss him. Brenda
