Rita J. Hustava, 90, of Springfield, died at 9:10 am, Saturday, April 23, 2016 at her home. She was born June 24, 1925 near Greenville, IL to Albert C. and Florence M. (Ulmer) Turley. She married Paul Hustava October 19, 1947 and he preceded her in death February 23, 2010. Also preceding her in death were her parents, three brothers and three sister.

Rita was a member of Kumler United Methodist Church and United Methodist Women. She was a graduate of Washington University in St. Louis. Mrs. Hustava retired in 1991 after 16 ½ years as the Registered Nurse for the Secretary of State Driver’s License Building at Dirksen Parkway. Previous to that she had worked at St. John’s Hospital and as a Private Duty Nurse.

Surviving are two sons, Stephen J. Hustava of Albuquerque, NM and David (Gina) Hustava of Springfield; one grandchild, Ashley Ann (Andy) Schacht; one great grandson, Everett Schacht and several nieces, nephew, great nieces and great nephews.

Visitation: 10 – 12 pm, Saturday, May 7, 2016 at Kumler United Methodist Church.

Funeral Service: 12 pm, Saturday, May 7, 2016 at Kumler United Methodist Church with Reverend Robert Freeman and Reverend George Heineman
officiating.

Burial will be at Camp Butler National Cemetery at a later date.
