Paul N. Huber, 76, formerly of Springfield, IL, passed away January 13, 2015 at Hitz Memorial Home in Alhambra, IL. He was born September 9, 1938. He was preceded in death by his parents Norman and Pauline (Mayes) Huber and his two children Jimmy and Tiffany.
Paul was a proud Marine. He was a police officer for the City of Springfield, IL and was a member of the Sangamon County Rescue Squad. He later became a Control Room Operator at the Sangamon County Sheriff’s Office.

He is survived by his wife, Jennifer Huber; his children; Brian (Mary Jo) Huber, Eric  Huber, Dara (Kyle) Damm, John Huber, Brent (Jason) Huber and Riley Huber; grandchildren, Thomas and David Huber, Caitlin (Matt) Sporrer, Nicholas DeHeve, Nathan Damm.

Mr. Huber donated his body to St. Louis University in hope to cure Parkinson’s disease.

Memorial Contributions may be made to Parkinson’s Research.

Memorial Gathering: 5 – 7 pm Sunday, January 18, 2015 at Staab Funeral Home.

A memorial service will follow the gathering at 7:00 pm with Reverend Seth Brown officiating. Military honors will be conducted by the United States Marine Corps.
