Opal F. Hullmann
Opal F. Hullmann, 86, of Springfield, died at 4:30 am, Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at Heritage Health. She was born October 16, 1928 in Springfield, to Lilburn and Lottie Hunt Leach. She married Herman Hullmann in 1949 and he preceded her in death on February 2, 1992.
Survivors include her son Brad (Andrea) Hullmann of Jacksonville; four grandchildren, Harley Hullmann, Wendy Hullmann, Katey (Perry) Floyd and Alexi Alexander; eight great-grandchildren; one sister, Cleon (Paul) Bell of Dawson; one brother Lyman (Bonnie) Leach of Rochester and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; five brothers, Lloyd Leach, Elmer Leach, Ralph Leach, Paul Leach and Clarence Leach and two sisters, Forestein Musso and Maude Grieme.
Opal attended West Side Christian Church. She previously worked for Illinois Bell but retired from the Pillsbury plant in Springfield, after 30 years of service.
Visitation: 4-7 pm, Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at Staab Funeral Home.
Funeral Service: 10 am, Thursday, May 14, 2015 at Staab Funeral Home with Vaughn Beeman officiating. Burial will follow at Camp Butler National Cemetery.
