Nora Lue Leonetti
Nora Lue Leonetti, 92, of Williamsville, died at 5:50 pm, Sunday, June 16, 2013, at Villa East Health Care. She was born December 24, 1920, in St. John, Kansas, the daughter of Oscar and Vida Taylor Miller. She married Anthony J. “Tony” Leonetti, July 6, 1944, and he survives.
Also surviving are a daughter, Amber Lue (James) Boehm of Sherman; son Timothy J. (Christina) Leonetti of Sherman; five grandchildren, Angelina Leonetti, Nick Leonetti, Peter (Dawn) Leonetti, James (Nikki) Boehm, and Erich Boehm; five great-grandchildren; brother, Darius (Ruth) Miller of Rocky Ford, Colorado; one aunt, Ferreldean; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Nora was a member of St. John Vianney Church in Sherman and the Altar and Rosary Society. She was a resident of Sherman for forty years and Williamsville for twenty one years.
Nora was a Registered Nurse in Maternity at St. John’s Hospital for 30 years.
Visitation: 4 – 7 pm, Wednesday, June 19, 2013 Staab Funeral Home with a prayer service at 4 pm.
Funeral Mass: 10:30 am Thursday, June 20, 2013 at St. John Vianney Church in Sherman with Monsignor David Lantz and Monsignor Carl Kemme officiating. Burial will follow at Camp Butler National Cemetery.
Memorials may be given to St. John Vianney Church.
