Nancy Marie Seals

Nancy Marie Seals, 68, of Springfield, died at 7:15 am, Saturday, August 13, 2011 at St. John’s Hospital. She was born April 25, 1943 in Springfield to Carl P. and Marguerite C. Crim Ushman.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, one sister Margaret Valerio. She married Edward L. Riddell in 1966 and he also preceded her in death.
She married Herbert F. “Jerry” Seals, Jr., in 1982 and he survives. She is also survived by two sons; Carl (partner Keith Lael) Riddell and Herbert F. “Herbie” Seals, III both of Springfield; one sister, Barb (Louie) Angeli of Springfield, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Nancy formerly worked for Hope School working with the disabled and retired from UCP. She was a member of the Eagles Auxiliary, and was an avid dancer, especially enjoyed POLKA and Ballroom dancing. She was a lifelong resident of Springfield.
Memorial Service: 4 p.m., Wednesday, August 17, 2011 at Staab Funeral Home with Reverend Sara Isbell officiating.
Memorial Gathering: following the service until 6:30 p.m., Wednesday, August 17, 2011 at Staab Funeral Home.
Private Burial will be held at a later date at Camp Butler National Cemetery.
