Nancy L. Drury

Nancy L. Drury, 79, of Springfield, died at 11:58 am, Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at her home. She was born April 12, 1932 in Taylorville, to Lawrence and Maria Jones McKinney. She married Edward Dale Drury on November 4, 1956 and he preceded her in death on March 12, 2000.
Her parents; one son, Lawrence E. Drury and one brother, James McKinney also preceded her in death.
Survivors include one daughter, Geri L Drury of Springfield; one son, Dennis R. (Kimberly) Drury of Zion; six sisters, Rose Marie (Joseph) Henry of Champaign, Barbara Millburg of Morrisonville, Madonna Phillips of Taylorville and Janet, Theresa “Terry” and Karen McKinney all of Springfield and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Nancy was a member of Cathedral of Immaculate Conception. She loved to needle point and enjoyed reading, sewing and spending time with her family.
She was a clerk at Mel-0-Cream Donut Shop and was a stay at home mom.
Visitation: 9-9:45 am, Friday, October 7, 2011 at Staab Funeral Home.
Funeral Mass: 10 am, Friday, October 7, 2011 at Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception with Reverend Peter Harman officiating.
