Minnie June McKay

M. June McKay, 70, of Taylorville, died at 8:17 am, Thursday, April 24, 2014 at Memorial Medical Center. She was born March 8, 1944 in New Madrid, MO to William Wiley Nelson and Ruth Collins Singleton.
Survivors include daughter, Noreen Purcell of Decatur; five grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; one brother Monroe Goodman of Aberdeen, WA and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Nathan McKay; two brothers and two sisters.
Minnie was a resident of Taylorville since 1993 and worked as a private caregiver.
Private services will be held at a later date.
