Michael "Mane" Thomas

Michael “Mane” Thomas, 57, of Springfield died at 1:10 pm Thursday, July 11, 2013 at Memorial Medical Center. He was born June 30, 1956 in Chicago, to Henry and Alma Logan Thomas.

His parents, two brothers, Henry Hall and Jimmy Logan; and three sisters, Claudine Johnson Barbara McKinnie and Delores Thomas preceded him in death.

Survivors include three sons, Marlo (Charmaine) Davis, Michael Perry and Jermaine Perry, all of Springfield; thirteen grandchildren; five great grandchildren; eight sisters, Betty McKinney, Faith Thomas, Ruth Thomas, Shelly Thomas and Barbara Thomas, all of Springfield and Dorothy Fountain, Christine Ledell Thomas and Henrine Thomas all of Kansas City, MO and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Michael enjoyed basketball and fishing.

Visitation: 10-11 am Friday, July 19, 2013 at Staab Funeral Home.

Funeral Service: 11 am, Friday, July 19, 2013 at Staab Funeral Home with Chester Logan officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.
