Michael Lloyd Weller
Michael Lloyd Weller, 58, of Springfield, died at 11:03 am, Saturday, March 17, 2012. He was born September 23, 1953, in Springfield the son of Lloyd W. and Ruth “Tudy” Hartman Weller. He married Phyllis Mudd Carpentier on September 16, 2005, and she survives. Michael is also survived by his mother, Ruth Weller of Riverton, two sons, Cody and Luke Weller; two step-children, Adrean (William) Schuerman and Dustin Carpentier; four sisters, Sandra (David) Kennedy, of Springfield, Helen Davis of Springfield, Susan Weller of St. Paul, MO, Sharon (John) Ippolito of Riverton, ten grandchildren, and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father.
Mr. Weller was a lifelong resident of Springfield and a 1971 graduate of Springfield High School. He was a Cubs fan, an avid hunter, and loved the outdoors and hunting for mushrooms. Michael was a heavy equipment operator, and a machine shop operator at Fiat Allis.
Visitation: 5-6:45 p.m. Wednesday, March 21, 2012 at Staab Funeral Home.
Funeral Service: 6:45 p.m. Wednesday, March 21, 2012 at Staab Funeral Home with Jim Gasparin officiating.
Memorials may be given to the Animal Protective League.
