Mary Kathrine White

Mary Kathrine White, 87, of Riverton, died at 10:30 am Wednesday, June 18, 2014 at Villa Health Care East in Sherman. She was born on September 21, 1926 in Springfield to Leonard C. and Rachel Mary Kussmaul Mohler. She married Melvin H. White on August 3, 1946 and he preceded her in death on June 19, 2012.

Also preceding her in death were her parents and sister, Ruby Bennett.

Surviving are a sister, Barbara (John) Shipman of Springfield; a brother, Donald C. (Betty) Mohler of Rochester and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Mary was a member of Riverton Christian Church. She retired after 38 years as a bookkeeper at Bressmers Co. She graduated from Rochester High School and enjoyed reading.

Visitation: 10-11 am Monday, June 23, 3014 at Riverton Christian Church.

Funeral Service: 11:00 am Monday, June 23, 2014 at Riverton Christian Church with Pastor Grant Ray and Reverend Frank Lewis officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.
