Mary F. Joyce, 93, of Springfield, died at 11:03 am, Wednesday, July 22, 2015 at her home. She was born December 6, 1921 in Springfield, to William and Mary Frances Denny Cato. She married Joseph M. Joyce on February 3, 1943 and he preceded her in death on November 24, 1991.

Survivors include four daughters, Patricia Joyce of Seattle, WA, Mary Frances Joyce of TX, Kathleen Joyce of Springfield and Jan (Fiancé: Jim Russell) Joyce of Springfield; three sons, John J. (Jeannie) Joyce of Decatur, William Joyce of Springfield and Edward Joyce of Springfield; ten grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; one sister, Therese Cato of Springfield and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one daughter Loretta Poss; one son, Thomas Michael Joyce; two sisters, Roseanne Light and Nora Pritchard; one brother, Bill Cato and one grandson. Mary was a member of St. Cabrini Church.

Visitation: 10:30 -11:30 am, Monday, July 27, 2015 at St. Cabrini Church.

Funeral Mass: 11:30 am, Monday, July 27, 2015 at St. Cabrini Church with Monsignor John Ossola officiating. Burial will follow at Camp Butler National Cemetery.
