Mary Ellen Stufflebeam
Mary Ellen Stufflebeam, 67, of Riverton, died at 1:12 pm, Tuesday, October 8, 2013 at Memorial Medical Center. She was born October 8, 1946 in Aurora, to Lawrence and Ruby Hulbert Hughes. She married Stanley Stufflebeam on August 26, 1967 and he survives.
Also surviving are one daughter, Jodi (Roger) Dennis, Jr. of Springfield; one son, George Stufflebeam of Riverton; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Charles D. and Beverley Harshaw of Springfield; one niece, Michele (Kevin) Schofield of Auburn; one nephew, Charles Harshaw, Jr. of Springfield and several cousins.
Her parents and one son Frederick Stufflebeam preceded her in death.
Mary Ellen was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Springfield and Reedeemer Lutheran Church in Sanford, FL and Vanatics Van Club. She enjoyed spending winters in Florida and camping. She retired from CCB Credit Services after twenty–three years where she worked as a legal secretary.
Visitation: 4-7 PM, Thursday, October 10, 2013 at Staab Funeral Home.
Lie-in-State: 9:30-10:30 am, Friday, October 11, 2013 at Immanuel Lutheran Church.
Funeral Service: 10:30 am Friday, October 11, 2013 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, with Pastor Darrell Debowey officiating. Burial will follow at Camp Butler National Cemetery.

Mary shared a great love of life with those that knew her, especially Stan and her family. I have missed her.
