Mary Beth Glenn, 67, of Waggoner, IL, passed away at St. John’s Hospital at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 24, 2016. She was born on November 21, 1948 in St. Louis, MO to Elwood and Helen Stewart. She married Danny Glenn in Springfield, IL on August 26, 1967.

Mary and Danny had 3 daughters: Julie (Jim) Thome, Cindy (Casey) Quertermous and Laurie (Tim) Johnson. She also had 5 grandchildren: Kimberly Magon, Logan Thome, Madisen Johnson, Peyten Johnson and Quenten Johnson.

Mary is also survived by 3 sisters: Nancy Tannehill, Ruth Carswell and Patricia Lynch.

Mary was proud to have been a stay at home mom to raise her children. For the past 20 years she was the office manager of Dan and Mary’s small family business. Mary was baptized in 1975 as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses and was a member of the Auburn Congregation. She enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening, reading and playing video games with her grandchildren.

Visitation: 11 am – 1pm Saturday, February 27, 2016 at Staab Funeral Home.

Funeral Service: 1 pm, Saturday, February 27, 2016 at Staab Funeral Home with Chandler Huffman officiating.

Burial will follow at Farmington Cemetery, Farmingdale, IL.

Memorial donations can be made to the local Kingdom Hall to support the world wide work of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Donations can also be sent in care of Staab Funeral Home.
