TAVARES, FLA. – Martha Clark, 90, of Tavares, Florida, formerly of Macomb, died at 3:15 a.m. Saturday, May 1, 2010, at her residence.
She was born July 22, 1919, in Springfield, Illinois, the daughter of Edgar and Mary Alta Churchill Lyons. She married John J. Clark on June 19, 1938; he preceded her in death.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; son, John M. Clark; 1 sister; and 2 brothers.
She is survived by 1 daughter, Rose (Donald) George of Tavares, FL; 1 son, Charles (Lana Kay) Clark of Davenport, IA; 14 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Martha was a homemaker.
She was a member of St. Paul’s Church in Macomb, Illinois.
Visitation will be held from 10-11 a.m. Friday, May 7, 2010, at St. Cabrini Church. Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, May 7, 2010, at St. Cabrini Church, Reverend Richard Chiola officiating. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery.
