Marsha Kay Sutton
Marsha Kay Sutton, 64, of Riverton, died at 12:45 pm, Friday, June 19, 2015, at her home. Marsha was born in Vandalia, IL to Otto and Freada Abendroth Klukis. Her parents preceded her in death. She married Donald Edward Sutton November 23, 1973, and he survives.
Also surviving are her three children: Benjamin (Aimee) Sutton of Springfield, Katherine Sutton of Bunker Hill, and Samantha (Tyler) Sloman of Illiopolis; four grandchildren, Joseph Sutton, Alexander Sloman, Madalyn Sloman and Eleanor Sloman; one sister, Marilee Kuehn of Palmetto, FL; one brother, Keith (Flo-Ann) Klukis of Oviedo, FL, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was a member of Riverton First United Methodist Church and a proud member of the St. Louis Zoo Foundation. She had a love for giraffes; but her greatest love was for her grandchildren. She was an Administrative Assistant for the Boys and Girls Club retiring after many years of service.
Memorial Gathering: The family will host a memorial gathering from 10 – 11 am, Saturday, June 27, 2015 at Riverton First United Methodist Church.
Celebration of Life: 11 am, Saturday, June 27, 2015 at Riverton First United Methodist Church with Reverend Bobbi Blackard officiating.
