I don't know any of Margorie's family, but she did speak of them. I met Margorie at Lewis Memorial during my Dad's stay there in May and June of this year. He was in room 405 just down the hall from Margorie. I saw her often in the hallways and spoke with her. We became friends. Even after my Dad went home, I came to visit with her several times. My own Mother died unexpectedly shortly after my Father's stay at Lewis Memorial. i shared with her about my grief of losing my Mother and the failing health of my father. I sat with her and just shared moments and time. She was my friend. I saw her mid September, but on my next visit I found her name replaced to her room. I burst into tears. She had become my friend and I will miss visiting with her. I told her when I left from my visits that I would be back and that I would remember her in my prayers always. I have been caring for my father in his home in Springfield and am so sorry that I did not know of her passing until after her services. I would have been honored to have been in attendance. I want you to know that in her last few months here on earth she touched another soul….mine. I will remember her until my own last day.
