Marilyn June Meyer

Marilyn “June” Meyer, 78, of Springfield, died at 6:01 am, Sunday, August 19, 2018 at Memorial Medical Center. She was born December 22, 1939 in Xenia, IL, to Cecil and Edna (Fear) Hockman. She married Clarence “Ed” Meyer, Sr. and he survives.

Also surviving are two children Cindy (Wesley) Malone and Clarence E. “Eddie” Meyer, Jr. both of Noel, MO; three grandchildren; nine great grandchildren and one brother, Robert Hockman of Keystone Heights, FL.

Marilyn loved going to dances with Clarence, her husband of fifty-nine years. She enjoyed crafting and sweat shirt painting.

Memorial Gathering: 5:00 – 7:00 pm, Wednesday, August 22, 2018 at Staab Funeral Home – Springfield.

Memorial Service: 7:00 pm, Wednesday, August 22, 2018 at Staab Funeral Home – Springfield.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Marilyn June Meyer Memorial Fund in care of Clarence Meyer, Sr.
