Marie T. Caswell

Marie T. Caswell, 90, of Springfield, died at 8:45 am, Tuesday, March 4, 2014 at St. John’s Hospice. She was born September 19, 1923 in Springfield, to John W. and Hedwig “Hedy” Krebs Vose, Sr. She married Lloyd “Bud” Caswell and he preceded her in death.

Survivors include one daughter, Yvonne of Springfield; sister, Irene “Midge” (Larry) George of Springfield; three brothers, Bob (Virginia) Vose and Paul Vose both of Springfield and Harold (Jean) Vose of Galena and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; four sisters, Elaine Vose, Gloria “Sug” Johnstone, Martha Sullivan and Marilyn Huseman and three brothers, John W. Vose, Jr., David Vose and James R. Vose.

Visitation: 4-7 pm, Thursday, March 6, 2014 at Staab Funeral Home.

Funeral Service: 11 am, Friday, March 7, 2014 at Staab Funeral Home with Monsignor John Ossola officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or to St. Jude’s Hospital for Children.
