Marianne Fanale, 79, of Springfield, died at 12:21 pm, on Thursday, February 28, 2019. She was born October 6, 1939 in Springfield to Michael and Gertrude (Davis) Fanale, and they preceded her in death.
Also preceding her in death are one infant brother, Michael J. Fanale and one grandson, Michael James Fanale Fuhrmann.
Surviving are two daughters, Jacqueline Fanale (Alan Fuhrmann) of Springfield and Jennifer Fanale of New York, NY; one sister, Trudi (Robert) Bjorge of Colorado; three brothers, Mike (Dorothy) Fanale of North Carolina, Fr. James Fanale C.S.V. of St. Anne, IL and Tom (Tammy) Fanale of Springfield, and several nieces and nephews.
Marianne was a resident of Springfield for the past 23 years, but had formerly lived in Chicago. She was a member of St. Agnes Church. She worked as a secretary in various law firms, corporations. She had worked for Construx, The Daughters of Union Veterans, and spent several years working for the State Legislature. She loved Notre Dame football, R & B music and spending time with her family and friends.
Private family services were held.
