Margaret Marge Kilbourne
Margaret “Marge” A. Kilbourne, 87, of Sherman formerly of Waukegan, IL died at 9:32 pm Friday, February 7, 2014 at Villa Health Care East.
She was born on December 1, 1926 in Milwaukee, WI to John and Anastasia “Stella” Scislowski Gibes. She married Lee E. Kilbourne on July 19, 1947. She was preceded in death by three sisters, Helen Massey, Jean Johnson and Anne Deits, two brothers, Frank and Raymond Gibes.
Surviving are her husband, Lee; three daughters, Linda (Robert) Dahl of Springfield, Anne Kilbourne of California and Mary (Duane) Wiltberger of Black, MO; one son, Dr. John T. Kilbourne (Kyra Walsh) of Bethesda, MD; eleven grandchildren; twenty-one great grandchildren; three brothers, John Gibes of Chicago, Albert Gibes of Tucson, AZ and Arthur (Diane) Gibes of Wisconsin and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Mrs. Kilbourne was a member of St. John Vianney Church. She was very active in Pro Life activities.
Visitation: 9-10:30 am, Wednesday, February 12, 2014 at St. John Vianney Church.
Funeral Mass: 10:30 am on Wednesday, February 12, 2014 at St. John Vianney Church with Monsignor David Lantz officiating.
Burial will be at Camp Butler National Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to St. John Vianney Church or Springfield Right to Life.
