Lucille M. Lentz

Lucille M. Lentz, 87, of Springfield, died at 12:20 am, Monday, June 27, 2011 at Memorial Medical Center. She was born September 7, 1923 in Farmersville, IL to John E. and Hannah Cohen Brown. She married Norman E. Lentz on June 1, 1949 and he preceded her in death on December 10, 1990. Her parents, three brothers John, Ray and Elmer Brown and five sisters Gertrude Brown, Hazel Beiermann, Loretta Weitekamp, Lela Reed and Bernice Reed, also preceded her in death.
Survivors include four children and four grandchildren; Stan N. (Tracy) Lentz of Lake Zurich, IL and their children Erin and Shane; Kevin E. (Cindy) Lentz of Arlington Heights, IL, and their daughter Jennifer; Mary Kay Lentz (companion: Mick Maxwell) of Springfield and Luann (J. Earl) Griffin of Glenarm and their son Jason; one sister Sr. Leola Brown, O.S.F. of Springfield and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Lucille was a member of St. Agnes Church.
Visitation: 4-7 pm, Wednesday, June 29, 2011 at Staab Funeral Home with a prayer service at 4 pm.
Funeral Mass: 10 am, Thursday, June 30, 2011 at St. Agnes church with Reverend Robert Jallas officiating.
Burial will be in St. Maurice Cemetery in Morrisonville, IL.
