Lowell M. Lemmons

Lowell M. Lemmons, 95, of Springfield, died at 1:20 am, Monday, September 24, 2012 at Memorial Medical Center. He was born October 22, 1916 in Franklin, Illinois to Ora Andrew and Iva Baggerly Lemmons. He married Lou Ellen Cox on January 31, 1951, and she survives.
Also surviving are one daughter Patricia (Bill) Vaccaro of Chicago; one grandson, Christopher Vaccaro and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
His parents and two brothers, Kelton and Dwayne Lemmons, preceded him in death.
Lowell was a Supervising Engineer at Caterpillar Tractor Company in Decatur. He had many hobbies including being a computer enthusiast.
Graveside Service: 1 pm, Thursday, September 27, 2012 at Greenwood Cemetery in Tallula, with Vaughn Beeman officiating.
