Louise Alvina Bringuet
Louise Alvina Bringuet, 87 of Springfield, died at 5:00 am, Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at her home with her husband by her side. She was born January 21, 1929 in Springfield, to Franklin G. and Alvina Huelsman Horn. She married Joseph L. Bringuet on June 17, 1950 at Laurel United Methodist Church, in Springfield.
Louise is survived by her husband, Joe Bringuet, her daughter, JoEllen (Dan) Higgins of Springfield; son, Dennis (Cathy) Bringuet of Springfield; grandchildren, Amy (Gary) Robbins, Cory (Melissa) Boatman, Todd (Mitzie) Bringuet and Scott (Melissa) Bringuet; nine great grandchildren, plus one great grandson due in July; one niece and two nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Franklin G. and Alvina Horn who founded Ace Sign Co. in 1940, and one sister, Norma McCalister.
Louise was an active member of Laurel United Methodist Church and was Past President of Lake Press Club Auxiliary.
Louise worked at Ace Sign Co. over 50 years, up to her last day.
Visitation: 4-8 pm, Friday, April 22, 2016 at Staab Funeral Home, with additional visitation from 12:30 – 2:30 pm, Saturday, April 23, 2016 at Laurel United Methodist Church.
Funeral Service: 2:30 pm, Saturday, April 23, 2016 at Laurel United Methodist Church with Reverend Dr. Kent Lolling officiating.
Burial will be at 12:30 pm, Sunday, April 24, 2016 at Oak Ridge Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Laurel United Methodist Church.
