Some 60 years ago, Louie was our mailman. As kids then, we always liked to see him coming down the street. He always had a smile on his face and wanted to know how things were going and if we were having fun. He often would let us walk with him on his route and let us take mail up to neighbors front doors. Louie was a good friend of my dad's and they often talked about Notre Dame football. I remember him as a kind and caring person who made this world a better place to be in.
