Loretta J. Constantino
Loretta J. Constantino, 93 of Springfield, IL died at 6:50 am, Sunday, December 2, 2012 at Villa East Healthcare in Sherman. She was born May 14, 1919 in Springfield, the daughter of John and Margaret Hamilton Connolly. She married Quindy (Gil) Constantino in 1948, and he preceded her in death in 1982. She is survived by her daughter, Cathleen (John) Shupe of Kirkwood, MO, and two sons; Michael B. Constantino of Springfield and Martin A. Constantino of Chatham.
Loretta was also preceded in death by her seven sisters, Margueritte Connolly, Mary Connolly, Irene Collier, Marie DeWitt, Ann Scott, Helen McAvoy, and Frances Connolly; five brothers, Tom, Mel, John, James and Bill Connolly, and granddaughter Courtney Shupe.
Loretta was employed as a secretary for the Illinois State Journal Register. She was a member of St. Joseph’s Church, was active in the St. Louise de Marillac and Sangamon County Home Extension Clubs, and enjoyed gardening.

Memorial Mass: 11 a.m., Friday, December 7, 2012 at St. Joseph’s Church with Monsignor Thomas Holinga officiating.
Memorials may be given to St. Joseph’s Church, Villa East Healthcare Center in Sherman or the charity of the donor’s choice.
