Lisa Kay Leach
Lisa Kay Leach, 50, of Springfield, died at 1:36 pm, Sunday, July 12, 2015 at St. John’s Hospital. She was born August 27, 1964 in Lincoln, IL, to Charles and Margaret “Peg” Gard Lindsey. She married James Patrick Leach on September 7, 1991.
Survivors include her husband, James of Springfield; one daughter Lindsey (DJ) Rudd of Morton; one son, Dylan Leach of Springfield; father, Charles Lindsey of Middletown; two sisters, Debbie Lindsey of Springfield and Becky (Bob) Huddleston of Greenview; one brother Steve (April) Lindsey of Springfield and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, great nieces and great nephews
She was preceded in death by her mother, Margaret “Peg” Lindsey.
Lisa was a member of MUNI Board of Directors. She was very devoted to the MUNI and also ran their concessions. She was a former board member of CIC-SHRM. She was the all-time best behind the scenes theater mom and enjoyed Gone with the Wind, Little House on the Prairie; Friday Brides Day and Air Supply. She loved her monthly gathering with the Hell Ladies and riding roller coasters.
She was Human Resources Director for Springfield Pepsi and formerly worked for Eaton Corporation for seventeen years.
Visitation: 4-8 pm, Wednesday, July 15, 2015 at Staab Funeral Home.
Funeral Service: 10 am, Thursday, July 16, 2015 at Staab Funeral Home with Reverend R. Dean Probst officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
