Lindsay R Meece

Lindsay R. Holste Meece, 36, of Springfield, completed her journey at 3:10 pm, Friday, November 29, 2013. She was born January 25, 1977 in Springfield to Jay and Sandy Kedigh Holste. She married Michael Ray Meece, November 25, 2000 and he survives.

Also surviving are her parents Jay and Sandy Holste of Springfield; two daughters, Zoe Rae and Nola Marie Meece; one son, Zachary Ray Meece; mother-in-law Shirley Meece of Springfield; one brother, Nathan I. Holste of Taylorville; sisters-in-law, Joni (Larry) Frank of New Berlin and Karen (Jamie) Kincaid of Springfield and several aunts, uncles and many cousins.

Her grandparents and father-in-law Ray Meece preceded her in death.

Lindsay was a graduate of Ursuline Academy and a homemaker. She was a member of the VFW Post #10302 Lady’s Auxillary.

Memorial Gathering: 11 am – 1 pm, Saturday, December 7, 2013 at Western Oaks Baptist Church, 5345 Old Jacksonville Road, Springfield, IL, 62711.

Memorial Service: 1 pm, Saturday, December 7, 2013 at Western Oaks Baptist Church with Pastor Ed Ingram officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Lindsay Meece Children’s Education Fund c/o Marine Bank or Western Oaks Baptist Church.
