Lillian D. Anderson, 96, of Mechanicsburg, died at 5:25 pm, Friday, December 6, 2019 at her home. She was born May 6, 1923 in Parnell, KY to Thomas and Angie (Harris) Alley. She married Charles H. Anderson August 12, 1941 and he preceded her in death on February 22, 2010.

Also preceding her in death are her parents and two sisters, Lexie Smith and Shirley Lesko.

Survivors include one daughter, Rita (Jerald) Margaron of Mechanicsburg; one son, Danny (Donna) Anderson of Cincinnati, OH; five grandchildren, Jeremy (Robyn) Margaron, David (Carrie) Anderson, Jodi (Scott) Snow, Michelle (Jason) Cupp, and Matthew Anderson; ten great-grandchildren; one great great-grandchild; one sister, Joyce Christine Shadden of Ohio; and several nieces and nephews.

Lillian was a resident of Mechanicsburg for most of her life where she worked in sales. She was a member of South Tower Community Church. She was described by family as an outgoing and energetic person who loved to work with people. She certainly enjoyed her years working at Abe’s Trading Post.

Graveside Service: 10 am, Thursday, December 12, 2019 at Oak Ridge Cemetery Mausoleum with Pastor Charlie Carver officiating.
